Correspondence, minutes, membership information, speech transcripts, financial materials, newspaper clippings, photographs, brochures, and other papers of Roger T. Faherty, regarding the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago (Ill.). Included is correspondence of Michael J. Faherty, Liam T. Cosgrave, William T. Cosgrave, and Eamon de Valera. Also present are papers of the Illinois Chapter of the American Irish Historical Society, the Illinois Republican Council, and the Ulster-Irish Liberty Legion. Many items concern Irish American attitudes on Irish Home Rule and on Irish neutrality during World War II. Includes a letter from Woodrow Wilson, 1918 Mar. 18, to James V. O'Donnell, extending thanks to the Irish Fellowship Club for their support.
